25 Days to Election:

Slow morning.  Rough night.  Family still have colds.  DH congested.  Snore.  Child talk in sleep.  Other child sleepwalk.  Baby cough.  Mama too alert sleep well.  Up.  Move slowly.  Gather self for big afternoon.  Air show.

Slap on Sticker.  Load sons.  To air show.  Many air shows as child.  M A N Y.  Father and mother enjoy air shows.  Even camping to Oshkosh once for big air show.  Big deal for family.  Sons love airplanes.  So.  Air show.   

Park.  Walk.  Walk.  Walk to air show.   Sticker feel comfortable.  Not such big deal on shirt now.  Sometimes toy with idea of posterior sticker.  Bumper not need emphasis.  Sticker stay on shirt.  See many clean cut people.  See many families.  See many generous in spirit.  Somehow feels like home.  Many wear support military items.  One BO cap.  Everyone kind.  See no ugliness all day.  Anywhere. 

Sons climb into large craft.  Last in line for day.  Get to sit in cockpit with Lt.  Ask where been.  Many places.  Sons ask much.  Sons reluctant leave.  Thank Lt. for service and all does for country.  Smiles.  Say same to airman as leave.  Smiles.  Says only hear couple times.  Means much.  Air show over.  Ears still rattle.  Loud planes.  Fun air show.  Not sure why not like as kid.  Dumb kid. 

Leave air show.  Walk.  Walk.  Walk.  Look for van.  Look.  Look.  Look.  Know there.  Not know where.  Many cars.  Car line not move.  Sit in shade.  Let sons play.  Sons climb trees.  Play.  Other kids join.  Wait.  Cars creep.  Look.  Wait.  Many cars leave.  Lie in grass.  Talk other parents.  Other parents look their car.  Sticker-wearer not only one look for car.  Almost hour.  See van.  Glad see van.  Did enjoy lovely shade.  Not sit traffic hour.  Drive home. 

Great country.  How often go place diverse backgrounds and all kind, generous, supportive?  Much respect seen at air show.  People respect people.  Love country.  Deeply satisfied.
